Mambe live was a 1 hour set that explored guided improvisation performance of electronic organic music. The performance was guided by an exquisite corpse of moods, ideas and textures that were the inspiration for the improvised music.
The process for the animations and graphics was a exploration of textures and shapes that could reflect the organic essence of the project. After creating different mood boards based on nature photography across Medellín, Colombia, I created a texture that mimics the idea of a forest in its most dense-green form. Following further exploration the animation and graphics grew to have a mixture of organic feel with electronic vibes, electrifying colors and non defined edges.
